There is technique to get into the sleeping bag due to the shape. But once inside you have to question your need to get out.
I used this for my credit cards and handy cash while bikepacking around Morocco. Durable, lightweight and water resistant. Served me well over 2,300kms.
As comfy as Crocs, but much more stylish and with the solid Vibram sole. I have worn them nearly everyday since I got them.
Great piece of equipment, high quality and next day delivery.
It was first used during a navigation course held by Clancy Roberts and Way-finder.
I highly recommend PAST outdoors for service and quality of products.
Bought the sit pad. Not only is it a good product but it was delivered promptly which counts for a lot. I can also get in touch with the team and get an immediate responseand help. Eg I made a stuff up with a size of another product, they rang, helped and i got the right size.
Customer service at its best 💯
Great customer service. Highly recommend
Great product! Super comfortable! Lite weight! Durable and Warm! I recommend this product and would purchase again!
As someone who has developed nasty reactions to many foods these days due to GI tract complications with IBD amongst other things, I thought my backpacking days were long gone until I found Radix Nutrition! Most foods I can tolerate that provide enough calories I cannot dehydrate safely or at all, and freeze drying meals for hikers like me just isn't accessible. Then I stumbled upon the Radix meals and it has been a total game changer for me. It has given me the opportunity to get my pack out and head out into the backcountry again with confidence, a quality of life for me that I thought was done and dusted. The flavour range is wonderful to my tastebuds, and 3 a day provides almost everything I need for a day on the trail carrying a pack (for some reason I require an extraordinary calorie intake). As others have said, these meals do not give me any stomach or GI issues either, and are a simple meal to eat too...just grab yourself a long titanium spoon for reaching the bottom without messy fingers. Anyway, I cannot thank Radix enough for bringing these products to market, and for Dave at PAST Outdoors taking on the market to supply these meals to hungry hikers like me! I really appreciate it 😎
This is such a handy mixing bottle to have. The included blending ball really helps to break up any clustered powder and I have had great results making and drinking my protein shakes from this blender bottle. The 2 way cap lock is also simple to use and very helpful in preventing spills if it gets knocked over or dropped for some reason!
As someone who has developed some serious GI issues in the recent years due to an IBD amongst other things, I am very thankful to have stumbled across the Radix range of nutrition products! I have to be very careful with what I can eat now and it's essential to my wellbeing to thoroughly read the ingredients list to ensure that there is nothing included that could or would cause me to have a flare-up. I have found the coconut flavoured variety of this protein powder to be very compatible with my particular GI tract issues, especially in the large intestine, and daily add a full serving to my breakfast meal and also have a serving with dinner if I've had a more physically intensive day of activity. This powder also goes well in my hiking food, adding it to my breakfast meal prior to compressing and sealing the bag ready for packing with my meal bag. Bottomline for me is that when I need it I have found it to be such a big help in my daily life as well as for my recovery following any physically demanding activity without causing me any prolonged GI trouble. Thanks heaps!
When you need to utilise a traditional map and compass during inclement weather conditions, a protective case such as this one can be real darn handy. Just choose the size you need for your map viewing and also pop in a notepad and pencil and you're good to go. Handy to have when you need it.
I was recently looking for a replacement compass after discovering that my old faithful had suffered catastrophic failure whilst in storage. I asked Dave for some advice which led me to purchasing this Silva compass as an upgrade to my previous unit anyway. It's a wonderful compass and I'm very happy to have it take up residence in my navigation kit. Thanks!
For some people these are a bit of an old-school item, but I love 'em and having lent and subsequently lost some over the last 25 years or so I was looking to expand my hydration system and general water carrying needs with some replacements. I like the Nalgene's 1L size and always utilise a mix of hard bottles and soft bottles/bladders when hiking and trekking. Throw in the sipper insert and you have a solid, leakproof container that will last a substantial amount of years and provide a versatile hydration and cooking solution.
Hiking in the mountains and national parks where we can be far removed from timely emergency medical help it is essential to carry items such as the SOF Tourniquet as part of a first-aid kit. Following Dave's real-life examples of use and advice on ease of application (not to mention doing remote area first-aid courses), the choice to purchase these tourniquet's was so easy...here's hoping we just never have to use one! But I'm super pleased to include them in our kits, whether it's for use in our group or for a stranger on the trail that needs potentially life saving assistance.
Mammut is my shoe of preference and really difficult to find in Australia. And too often only then when your shoe size is 13. Mine isn't.
Fortunately I found PAST Outdoors. Had the Mammut shoe I was looking for, right size, fair price and excellent service. Happy customer.
Very lightweight and packs into nothing but is warm and cozy. Would recommend.

Glad you like them!! At least with the Bedrocks you don't get the Croc tan 'holes' of shame
