Pillows are such a unique experience to each individual so I won’t comment on comfort. I will say that the stretchy top is fantastic. That it packs uber small. And best of all has loops and cord on the side to lock it into a pad. I hate my pillows sliding all over the place whilst I’m sleeping. Pair it with the exped ultras and you can’t go wrong. Specs say 50grams, but it’s actually 53grams with the cord and lock.
Kris was very helpful instore. Blew it up and checked out all the seam welding and inflation. Just spent a night on it. Feels slightly different to the therms, but just as warm. Best part are the loops to tie your pillow on. Ultimately chose the long wide enough though I’m a shortie. Gives me plenty of room to stretch out and the quilt doesn’t tough the floor or walls of the tent. The extra 30grams was worth it
Ditch the 4 prong that comes with the Soto windmaster, extra weight for no reason. I use this triflex to save weight and space. Also matches perfectly with the newer generation of pots with cutouts for the heat exchangers
Used these for 4 days in drizzle and some rain going through rock scrambles, creeks and pushing through thick scrub. The face fabric was strong enough to withstand abrasion without puncture. I would like to add something to hold them down over my boots. Overall great pants and easy to put on over boots.
