The Hardside hose system works well, it has sufficient length to allow a Nalgene bottle to be placed in any backpack pocket.
I found the bite valve and cover to be cumbersome and replaced them a very short section of clear tube to improve the surface area for suction when drinking.
Overall I’m quite satisfied and I prefer this style compared to a water bladder/reservoir system.
It’s all bout weight or less of so this box is perfect as it’s stylish and super light
Can't go wrong with having this in the pack. Good quality and as per description. Haven't managed to break it either.
I’ve used on a three night motorcycle trip so far. It’s great as it is tough and light and great for my coffee. I didn’t bring a Nalgene bottle, but I stored my jet boil fuel canister inside the cup. It fit perfectly.
