This is such a good store. Recently bought a whole bunch of warm gear for a NZ hike and the gear was excellent. Staff are also super nice and helpful.

Excellent knowledge of products through professional experience in the field, helpful friendly service and a wide range of quality products.
I ordered a pair hiking boots then realised I’d be out of the country when they were due for delivery - Past Outdoors staff offered to keep my boots in store until my return then sent them the day after I got home - so helpful, and saved me the stress of wondering if my delivery had been left on the front steps during the rainy season!

I visited the store looking mainly for a better sleeping bag/mat, and had a great experience. Dave took the time to get all the different sleeping bag options (including different sizes), weigh them, roll them out on the table so I could compare them, and gave excellent advice without any upselling pressure. I am really happy with what I ended up getting.

The store is in a small industrial complex, but is setup as a normal shop, with the warehouse next door. There is a great range of different equipment on display, all quality stuff. It was a nice level of busy on a Saturday, but with plenty of parking, so it's easy to drop in and take a look.

I'll definitely be back for upgrading the rest of my gear. Thanks!

Fantastic shop. I bought two pair of camping socks hoping they would arrive by next week before I start my trip. They arrived the next day ....overnight. 882 kilometres away! They must have processed my order the minute it came through. I'm very impressed. They even included a thank you note and gave me a bit of information about the socks that I didn't know. I've saved this camping shop in my bookmarks.

Amazing customer service! I purchased a pair of Bedrock clogs, which have very tricky sizing. Reviews across the internet will recommend sizing ranging from “your normal size” to “2-full sizes up”. Bedrocks offers a range of print out for the sandals, but none for the clogs. The team at PAST contacted me to check I had the ordered the correct size, helpfully drawing on the personal experience and kindly offering expert guidance. Thank you!
