I have been searching for light weight highest rail protection jacket. And here it is. love it. Thanks for the recommendation
Just used the exped terra -5 for the larapinta trail in central Australia. We had weather ranging from 10 degrees to -2 degrees and it was so comfortable. Packs down nice and small, couldn’t fault the product. Can’t wait to use it for some more hiking!
I use these most weekends for a few hours, and used them on the Milford Track in NZ last year. Very comfortable, no blisters at all from brand new, and no damage showing. They also dried well overnight from total submersion, albeit in a drying room, but no residual water in any part. Well worth the cost for great gear.
Tiny. Very light, so it's unnoticeable in a pack. Fits in a 600ml mug on top of a small gas canister with a couple of bic lighters beside it. Seems very reliable so far. Stable.
I bought this to replace the pole in my almost-30-year-old OR bivy sack. It was a little longer than needed for the old sack, but easy to cut down to the correct size.
