I recently purchased a Mont Supercell through Past Outdoors and couldn’t be happier with both the service and the product.
The team were easy to deal with, knowledgeable, and clearly understood the realities of using gear in New Zealand alpine conditions rather than just selling equipment from a catalogue. Communication was excellent and the tent arrived quickly and exactly as described.
The Supercell itself has already proven its worth in strong alpine winds and poor weather on multiple trips through Canterbury and the West Coast. It’s heavy compared to lightweight three-season options, but the durability, weather resistance, and confidence it provides in exposed country more than justify the weight.
Would happily purchase from Past Outdoors again.
I absolutely love my new backpack. It’s exactly what I was looking for—more of an old-school style compared to some Osprey models I’ve used. The Exped quality is fantastic.
If you’re not a fan of bladders (I’m not) but are a fan of not dying of dehydration (I am) grab this handy bit of kit. Have used it both on a three day hike and a day hike so far and am obsessed. Even forgot the conveniently provided clip for your pack chest strap, and it’s still just so easy to use and chuck over your shoulder. Drink your damn water, girly. Dave is also a top bloke, who when I forgot to update my correct postage address, did it in a heartbeat after my order when I flicked him a quick email.
Thankfully had this meal as backup when all other options failed . It was delicious and filled a very grumbly tum beautifully
