Hardside Hydration Wide Mouth Nalgene Swig Rig

Fantastic on a recent multi day hike. Setup with two 1.5l Nalgene bottles, easy to swap over the rig when the first is empty. The convenience of the swig rig is so good. I drank consistently over the day which would not have happened if I had to keep getting my water bottle out from my pack pocket. Highly recommend!

Purchased for use in Nepal later in the year. Used on a trial run today and its a game changer, no need to worry about a leaky bladder. Will be taking to Spain in a week.

I’d been tossing up whether to take bottles or a bladder for trekking in Nepal when I spotted this setup.
I took it for a test run this week and was very happy with my purchase.
As with all the best products the a Swig Rig is uncomplicated - simple to set up and simple to use.
To me it seems to have the benefits of both bottle and bladder hydration systems.
There is the convenience of the bladder to keep hydrated while walking without having to stop and access your water bottle.
And when you stop walking it’s easy to disconnect and take your bottle with you to fill and to drink from off the trail.
I’m wondering why no one thought of this setup earlier .
I hadn’t encountered Past Ourdoors before but their price was good as was their service and delivery was speedy.

Recently changed to the Swig Rig and Nalgene bottle after a blowout with my bladder system. Having used Nalgene bottles for some years I knew they were stong. My doubts lay in the Swig Rig. I have now used it a few times and find the whole system very good. My only real complaint would be the bite valve, to me it doesn't allow enough water through it. I have changed that to my old one, and now perfect. Very happy with the setup.
