Exped Lightning 45 Litre Backpack

This lightweight 45L backpack is ideal for multi-day treks, offering streamlined functionality and minimal weight.

The functional roll-top closure allows not only quick access, but also expansion of the main compartment. Side pockets made of elastic fabric can be used to store items such as water bottles as well as trekking poles or tent poles. Zippered pockets on the hip belt on top of the pack provide even more quick-access storage space.

Side zig-zag compression straps and a webbing strap that runs across the backpack with quick-release buckles keep gear like mats or a rain layer securely in place. Those who use the Lightning for mountaineering attach ice tools to the designated loops and central daisy chain.

The adjustable suspension system features minimal contact points and an adjustable aluminium stay, providing a custom fit for each user. Increased comfort is achieved with the integrated padded hip belt. The fabric is light, water-resistant, and PFC-free for safe and reliable use.

My new favourite!

I got the female/youth fit cap and its perfectly sized for my noggin. I love the colour and its great quality. I found that a flatter peak works well with my face shape and I was able to easily straight out the peak for a more flat trucker look. Will get another in a different colour.

Sock convert

Dipping my toes Into the world of performance socks I was not disappointed one bit by these socks. They are the perfect weight and warmth for a crisp hike on the south coast without feeling like you are wearing a bulky sock. I've even been wearing them to work on the colder days and they've kept me so warm!

Some of the best shoes i've owned in a long time! I've worn these everyday for the last 2 weeks and my feet have never been happier. From the trail to long days at work these shoes can do it all. they've been a real god send post climb to help give some relief to my feet and stretch them back out :)
