I recently completed this First Aid course and couldn’t be more impressed. The instructor was outstanding—professional, knowledgeable, and highly engaging. Next Peak and past Outdoors fostered a supportive adult learning environment, making it easy to ask questions and stay involved throughout the session.
The course content was clear, practical, and relevant, covering everything from CPR to managing real-life emergency scenarios. It struck the perfect balance between theory and hands-on application, with a focus on building genuine confidence.
What makes this training truly stand out is its flexibility and relevance. Whether you're in a remote profession, such as mining, construction, emergency services, or agriculture, or in a city-based setting like corporate offices, education, retail, or hospitality, the course content is designed to adapt to the unique risks and realities of your working environment.
The instructor took the time to understand the nature of our work and tailored scenarios and examples accordingly. For remote or high-risk industries, there was a strong emphasis on managing delayed emergency response times, environmental hazards, and solo first aid practices. For urban and public-facing roles, the focus shifted to common incidents like slips, burns, cardiac events, and dealing with high foot traffic emergencies.
This kind of customization ensures the training remained relevant, practical, and immediately applicable—empowering staff with confidence, not just compliance. It’s clear that this program isn’t a one-size-fits-all solution, but a genuinely responsive training experience that supports real-world preparedness across all sectors.
I highly recommend this course to anyone seeking high-quality First Aid training in a professional, adaptable, and supportive setting.
Easy on the stomach and very tasty! Coconut flavour. Winner !
We use this to take my toddler’s milk to daycare and it 100% leak proof and fits really well into her lunch pack. I throw it in the top rack of the dishwasher and it’s ready for the next day. Highly recommend this product!
Best hiking pack I’ve ever had, and I’ve had quite a few. The harness/suspension system is amazing. Allows your back and hips to move without shaking the pack around, which stops the load moving back and forth, putting you off balance and causing rotation. Allows air flow. Has a built in rain cover, several utility pouches, fits a hydration system, and allows carriage of poles, jackets and other bits on the outside. And the roll-down system (with zipper) enables you to easily adjust the size and still maintain compression.
I find hydration bladders cumbersome to use out in the field. You never know how much is left, refilling can be a pain and getting them back into a fully packed bag can be annoying. After a trip cleaning and drying just seems more effort then needed.
I like bottles but felt I didn't drink as much. But the Swig Rig changed this! Pricey but so worth it. Excellent construction and turns my Nalgene bottles into easy to use, clean and fill hydration system.
Only 'complaints' is the valve flow is on the slower side but not bad. Just have to remember to turn on as its a twist on/off and its easy to twist to off when putting it back into the valve protector.
When trimming the straw, make sure it touches the bottom of the bottle. I had a gap of around 3mm and it means the last bit of water doesn't get sucked up. My fault, I measured with my eye when I should have actually got the tape!
