The “Nalgene Travel Kit — Medium” is great for carrying my cooking ingredients on kayak day trips. I use 125 ml bottle for metho fuel, 30ml bottle for cooking oil, 30ml container for sugar. No spills or leaks. Sturdy, light weight. Highly recommended. Thanks PAST Outdoors!
Bought this guy to complement my existing hot tent - which wasn't so hot until I put the stove inside it! Managed to get a nice even heat in the stove which kept me warm, dried my gear and let me sleep through the night, even after coming in cold and wet. Sturdy and lightweight construction but I think the biggest selling point for me was the ease with which I could pack it back up. Too often I get something that comes rolled perfectly but then will not fit back in the bag it came. Not the case with this stove.
The blue patina the stove gets the more you use it is like a living memory of all the trips you have taken it on, which is a nice touch.
Only downside to the stove was initially getting the chimney to roll properly, but Dave talked me through it in the shop and on subsequent uses the chimney just popped into shape. Super happy with the purchase - making me think about getting the Tipi to see how the combo goes!
Another really good product from a great company.
Great support. Doesn't go down overnight. Light weight but a tad bulky.
Light and easy to store empty. Robust and no leaks. Highly recommended.
