The Ground Chair is perfect for hiking, MTB touring and for keeping in the car. A game changer when it comes to glassing the hills from camp and getting you off the ground for longer lasting comfort in the outdoors.

Unique in the Helinox range, the Ground Chair has a square base that spreads the load more evenly than feet, meaning it is not as likely to sink into soft ground.

With the goal of sourcing a luxury, lightweight ecosystem of products to compliment the UL6T - Helinox was the only choice for furniture. In fact, the height of midpoint guy rope tie outs in the UL6T were designed with the ground chairs in mind to maximise space and enhance the users  experience in the outdoors.

This is a fantastic light weight chair. I first bought one as a gift for my daughter to keep in the pram to breast feed from. She loves it. I then bought another 2 for my husband and I for hiking and other picnic type outings

Why didn't I buy one 5 years ago!

Ever since I bought a set of Helinox walking poles I had wanted one of their chairs. I just couldn't decide which one to get. I'd wondered if the ground chair would be too low but I reckon if you are going to be low, you might as well be as low as you can go! I trialled one on a trip in NZ with Dave and I was sold. Received mine within 48 hours of placing my order and couldn't be happier. Ground chair all the way, perfect sitting position while having a brew of any kind. Oh and yeh, they are really light and worth carying hiking in my opinion.

I have a range of Helinox products, Dave recommended this, as a bit different but with some very specific advantages, ultra light and strong, low profile makes it the ideal companion in the UL6T, great for glassing hill side or anything where you wanna stay low but keep yourself off the ground. If I'm not moving far I have a strap and flick over my back little like a turtle, super stable coz it low profile. Because of the design there's no legs to sink into the ground when on the soft stuff or beaches. Also being low my kids love em.If weight, strength and low oro are a priority this is the one, it's now always in my kit.
