Moroka 30 Snake Proof Gaiters Sizing:

The "L" size fits most, however to easily and accurately measure your sizing complete the following:
  1. To obtain your length measurement, measure the length from the centre of your ankle bone to below your knee cap.
  2. To obtain your circumference measurement, measure the circumference around the largest part of your calf muscle, over the pants you normally wear in the outdoors.

Lightweight and comfortable

I wear these whilst out around the property.
They are lightweight and comfortable and do not impair movement. I have yet to need to put them to the test but I feel more secure wearing them than not.
They are also good to wear whilst slashing grass as they prevent seed spears from attaching themselves to my legs.
The design is clean with nothing that could catch on sticks and branches. The stud buttons for sealing the outer flaps are a bit stiff and require that the gaiter be rotated on the leg so that they are over the shin bone to effectively snap them shut. This is a small gripe as their use is a smart one. Whereas if velcro has been used they would eventually fowl up grass, seeds and other foreign substances.
The steel hook at the bottom slides under the boot laces easily enough and keeps the gaiters from potentially sliding up the calf.
I am happy overall with my purchase and a little less nervous about working around the property.

The best gaiters

If you’re worried about snakes in the areas you need/want to access, get these. After reading reviews and watching these gaiters being tested, it’s hard not to feel a lot more confident wearing them when you’re trekking through the bush. Comfy and quality. All of the snaps and zips are quality and I can tell that these are going to last me a lifetime. Great product.
