This shirt is so soft and light, even with the long sleeves it generally feels like you can’t possibly be wearing something so technical that provides the protection it does. I went with the OR Sunhoodie as it’s on the thinner, lighter side of the sunhoodie spectrum and I tend to always be hot when it’s over 10°. This shirt provides the protection I wanted with comfort exceeding what I expected.
I don’t like downplaying good quality equipment, but if you know Outdoor Research this product won’t surprise you. It is top notch as they always are and are known for. I went with the Foray because I run hot and I loved the full side zips, not just pit zips. The jacket is light, Packs small, strong, and works great. Worth every penny and then some. There’s a reason OR has the reputation and following it does.
I made the switch to nalgene containers and I haven't looked back - no leaks in my back, or breaks from dropping them. Super solid, leak proof, easy to use.
Will always have these in my kit.
Upgraded my toiletries containers for on and off the trail, these are quite thick material and I've not had any accidental spills or breaks since switching over.

I have been using the swig rig for the Nalgene bottle for a couple of years now and it is fantastic. This latest acquisition is so that I can use smaller, lighter bottles with a 28mm cap. These swig rigs are fantastic and do away with the need for an in-pack water bladder. A much more convenient way to cary water and sip on the go. Highly recommend.
