I can safely say this has been definitely worth the money. I hate having bladders in my backpacks because of the awkwardness getting it in and the bulk. The other reason is I can never see how much water I've had until the end of the day, usually never enough. Now I can drink on the go with the straw and have my 2nd nalgene there for gulping down when stopped for a snack and super easy to refill. They are onto a winner here.
PAST Outdoors Originals Hiking Individual First Aid Kit (HIFAK)
So much easier to use and refill when compared to a water bladder. I have mine with the filter so I can refill from a creeks easily. Great product!
So I'm on the alpine walking trail, wind is gusting to 65kmh and its started to rain, I find a spot to put up a tarp on the lee side of the ridge and think about something to eat.... I boil a pot and 5 minutes later I am indulging in hot cheesy mashed potatoes. Weve all had a meal that hits the spot and this one never misses! A staple in the pack on any hike for me.
I have been looking at this particular tent for over a year. Following an online review from one of my favourite YouTubers I was convinced and visited Past Outdoors to purchase the tent and the footprint. How surprised was I to have my Nemo sleeping mat, 60 litre Whippa pack and practically everything else I was carrying, fit inside the Moondance 1FN with plenty of space to spare. For a one person tent it has plenty of space and is a breeze to erect. The one piece pole system is brilliant and so easy to use. The tent packs down to a ridiculously small item. I am definitely a convert to Mont equipment and highly recommend the Moondance 1FN as an awesome piece of hiking kit.
