The Sundance is a lifesaver for a person that does not like sunscreen on their skin. Perfect active layer where you're expecting no shade.
As a person with cold hands, I often wonder if there are gloves that I can use with screens without taking my glove off. This glove does exactly that so that I can just put on, have toasty hands, and not worry about taking the gloves off to use my phone.
I took advantage of the free download of the hiking and camping checklist, and found it very comprehensive. I do medium-level day hikes, and didn't have a snake bite kit on a hike yesterday where we saw a tiger snake and a Tasmanian green snake - something on your list and which I will now add to my inventory. I also didn't know that there were different compasses for northern and southern hemispheres. I hadn't heard of emergency bivvy bags either, and will add that into my pack, potentially either for myself, or to help out someone in trouble, until help comes. I really appreciate this comprehensive list which can both be modified for shorter hikes and ensures that I am fully kitted out for longer ones.
