Turn your Nalgene (or similar bottle) into an awesome hydration system with the Swig Rig Kit. All Swig Rigs include everything you need to add a hose and you can add options like bottles and sleeves to customise the kit just the way you like.

Choose between a clear hose, a high vis orange or a black insulated hose - the insulation is applied to the hose an is not a sleeve.

The Swig Rig recently underwent some upgrades to a new quick connect and updated high Flow Straight Bite valve.

Essential hydration

Hydration for day hikes has always been a challenge for us. Hardside Hydration products proved perfect and your speedy delivery enabled us to add a day hike to Mount Boronia (Grampian National Park) to our two day Grampians Peaks Trail (GPT) hike.

Great product! Super useful instead of using a bladder but with the convince of staying hydrated on the go.

Only small thing is you need to be careful about the attachment to the lid - it did leak a little when the bottle wasn't upright - but otherwise worked perfectly.

Service like no other

The product is great and definitely provides a degree of peace of mind vs a traditional reservoir hydration setup. What really sets PAST apart though is their service. Not super easy to use for me

I bought this because after a bladder fail on the Larapinta I’m trying to make the switch to two Nalgene bottles instead.
Works as intended but I didn’t think about the implications of the design. Unlike drawing water from a bladder, using this with a bottle doesn’t create vaccum. Which means that every time you want to take a swig you need to suck the water all the way up again along the lenght of the hose. I personally find that annoying when I’m already out of breath while hiking because it does take a bit of effort to bring the water up. I also find the hose unnecessarily long for my set up - I’m short so the distance from the side pocket of my pack to my face is too short for the lenght of hose.
Other than that - good product. Seems robust, lid seals well and no funny taste.

Hi Joana, thanks for your review. Does your Swig Rig still have the small white valve on the lid? It is there to help keep the bottle vacuumed. Also, the Swig Rig is designed to be trimmed to anyone's needs whether it be the straw for a smaller botle or the hose to fit properly on anyone's pack - so feel free to to cut it shorter! These boots were purchased for land based rock fishing and boating.

They were replacements for another well known brand in this field and they have far exceeded the capabilities of those boots in every way
