This is a new inexperienced user’s subjective review, nothing more. For the last four years I have walked in respected Italian made footwear, but the use-by-date became a reality: my feet, particularly the left one, started to suffer noticeably after two hours walking. Foot issues are a good motivator and driver to address, say, foot discomfort and joint pain. Off to PAST Outdoors. Problem described to staff. Response focussed and honed in on eliminating foot problem. Solution a pair of LOWA RANGER III GTX W. These trekking boots are well made. Compared to what I have been previously used to, these boots are slightly heavier and a little more rigid - given they are new. However these parameters, along with a wider toe box, have paid dividends in terms of foot support, comfort and so far, the elimination of joint pain. Another thing noticed is the very effective reduction in ground reaction forces teflected back up through feet, ankles and legs, and noises from walking. This, in addition to better ankle support has increased levels of comfort when walking. Have owned these trekking boots only for 1 week, but have, to date, walked 50km in them with no issues materialising. They are a well made and quality trekking boot. They are comfortable to wear and help secure and maintain one in functional trekking shape. They will also help take one places safely and with more confidence.

Fit like a glove and awesome service

I have owned many different mountain boots in my time but got out into the Lowa by a friend. I went to visit PAST and Kristine spent about an hour with me showing me all the boots and fitting me up. Even gave me some free Boot care cream.

The rangers fit perfectly and I’ll be wearing them on an upcoming NZ trip. I also grabbed some Wilderness wear socks, some gaiters and waterproof socks to make up an awesome dry foot system for NZ.

Definitely worth visiting the store!

Excellent and reliable power bank

Hiking remote for 5 days, solo, in Peru and it was essential to keep my phone charged.

great jacket for Tassie!

going hiking in Tassie in winter requires the best rain jacket. I love this one because of its three quarter length, providing maximum coverage to the thighs. not many jackets go this length.

Great service and great piece of kit, delivered quickly. Would total recommend. Side note get a spare check value as these can be dislodged if you’re not careful.

Good idea

Works well, however possible user error…it leaks a tad on some bottles. I found the softer plastic bottles leaking at the top. The Fiji water bottle initially leaked but I seemed to have got it on the 2nd time with no leaks.

Bedrock sandals

Thought long and hard about these before purchasing, but definitely worth it. Been wearing for a while now every day and am stoked with how they fit, the durability, how comfortable they are and the team at PAST.
Before shipping the clogs out they made sure I had read the sizing guide correctly, which was a nice detail. I ordered a size up and they fit nicely, would be curious to see if my normal size would have been satisfactory.
Overall awesome and am looking forward to wearing these in.
