Got this to replace my previous generation actik core. A couple of really nice features, like the glow in the dark halo to assist with finding the torch in the dark, the battery indicator LED and the ability to lock the on/off button.
It's brighter than the last actik core, makes a difference when you're trying to navigate tricky terrain at night.
After 5 days of use, I had to replace the rechargeable with AAA on a walk out at night, the hybrid feature is gives it great versatility and gives you confidence.
Asked Dave to recommend and supply a headlamp suitable for my application. Nailed it, great little headlamp.
