Wrap up: Winter Solstice LIVE event 2026
What a night! Our Winter Solstice Event well and truly delivered, and we couldn't be more stoked with how our community showed up.
Hundreds of you came through our doors to mark the longest night of the year the PAST Outdoors way — with great gear, great brands, and an even better atmosphere.
Premium brands brought their A-game
Well known, premium brands like Garmin, Osprey, Exped, Rumpl, LOWA, Radix and more set up stalls throughout the store, sharing their latest gear, answering questions, and handing out freebies all night long. One lucky shopper even walked away with a brand-new Mont tent — talk about starting your next adventure in style!🎉

And the gear didn't stop moving
With 20% off storewide, shoppers stocked up for the season ahead — from base layers to backpacks, sleeping systems to navigation gear. If you missed grabbing something on the night, pop in and ask us — we may still have a few solstice specials kicking around.

Special thanks to our growing team!
Behind every great recommendation at PAST Outdoors is a team that actually lives this stuff. Our crew has grown steadily, bringing together hikers, campers, and seasoned outdoor educators who've clocked up serious time on trails, in tents, and under the stars — not just behind a counter. Whether you're after the right boot for a multi-day trek, the best sleep system for sub-zero nights, or advice on running your first guided hike, our team brings real, hands-on experience to every conversation. As PAST Outdoors keeps growing, so does the depth of knowledge on the floor — and that's something we're genuinely proud of.

Real talk with Zero Limits
A massive highlight of the evening was our live Q&A with Matty Morris from the Zero Limits Podcast. Hearing first-hand stories of pushing limits and chasing big adventures was exactly the kind of fire we needed on a cold winter's night.

Good food, good brews, good vibes
No event is complete without fuel for the journey. Resin Brewery kept the cold at bay with their brews, while Franco's Thirroul served up pizza that disappeared pretty quickly!
To everyone who came down, said hello, asked questions, and shared a beer or a slice with us — thank you. Nights like this are why we do what we do.
Until the next one — get out there and thanks again for showing our not-so-small business your support.

Dave, Alli & The Team at PAST Outdoors.
