Exped

Exped was founded in Zurich, Switzerland in 1983 by Heidi and Andi Brun, two outdoor enthusiasts who started out distributing other brands' gear before developing their own products in 1997. In 2001, Exped released the industry's first down-insulated sleeping mat, the DownMat, and in the process developed the R-value testing system now used industry-wide to measure how warm a sleeping mat actually is.

That same precision and problem-solving mindset now runs through everything Exped makes, from sleeping mats to backpacks and dry bags, all still designed in Switzerland with genuine attention to detail.

I’m guessing that the Diamond thieves who smash & grabbed the Crown Jewels from the Louvre & the Van Cleef & Arpels diamonds in Vienna weren’t wearing Black Diamond Mission LT 2.0 Women’s Approach shoes. A woman in these shoes doesn’t need to smash & grab anything. She’s a stealth machine.The only thing she will steal is your attention. These shoes grab the ground, grab your attention & grab your feet as they fly across the room. Black Diamond shoes are not Black Market Diamonds. They might be a steal but they’re the real deal. (Ok I’ve only truly tried them on & walked down my passage so I can’t give an accurate description of how they wear on a trek but the review was requested & the heist is a marketing opportunity that couldn’t be overlooked).

I used it with a 1L nalgene wide mouth and a CamelBak hose and the combination worked very well.
