Specifications

On larger diameter poles (FL135, LB, LBB, GL, DL) snow baskets can either replace the bushwalking baskets entirely or be installed underneath the existing baskets.
For the smaller diameter poles (e.g. Passport range), the existing small bushwalking baskets need to be removed before fitting the snow baskets. These are quite difficult to remove, we recommend soaking the small baskets in hot water before attempting to pull off.

Helinox Snow, Sand & Mud Basket Set

These larger diameter (80 mm) snow baskets help prevent pole tips from burying in snow or soft ground conditions such as sand or mud. Compatible with the Ridgeline and Passport poles.

Please note: Although these are compatible with the Helilnox Passport range of poles, they not recommended for skiing, snowshoeing or extended use in snow conditions as they may be placed under more strain than they are designed to handle. When fixing these baskets, the small existing baskets need to be removed beforehand with a lot of force.
